Has anyone tried Allocate Smartly?

If so, did you find that the "tactical asset allocation strategies" are worth the subscription fee?

Haven't looked into them. Is there a way to test the strategies before paying for them? $49/m and $399/y seems reasonable if you spread it over a $1m portfolio and you get asset allocation advice that would normally cost you at least 0.50%, likely close to 1% p.a.

It also depends on what kind of AA strategies they offer there. If it's all just momentum, I'd stay away.

Also, keep in mind that these strategies are tax-inefficient. If you implement that in a taxable account you'd have a tough time getting over that even if the strategies provide alpha.
