Pretty rich premium landscape this morning. Hard to believe considering we're at the all-time high. Sold a 4380 strike put for Monday for $0.90 with the index at 4505.

4395 for $0.95 midday and 4400 for $0.8 at close. Not as rich but still not too bad!

Why are there 4 weeklies this week?  I don't recall a unique end of month option (besides the quarterly) before.

@navypack my understanding is it’s just a calendar quirk that it has been a long time since a month met the criteria:

  1. Month ends on Tuesday or Thursday.
  2. Month is not an end of quarter.

The last one was April 2020. June and Dec ended on Tuesday/Thursday but also were end of quarter. It’s this end-of-month subcategory: https://www.cboe.com/tradable_products/sp_500/spx_end_of_month_options/specifications/

Sold 4440 Put twice today..at the open for $1.40 and at the close for $1.05.
