@navypack similar. I thought we’d get a volatility increase yesterday with upcoming Fed news but it didn’t show up until today.

Do people out there add a put on a middle day like today if there’s a midday volatility spike? For me that’s loading up a bit too much risk when I still have a day to go on the existing ones. Perhaps if I were selling 5+ puts at 2-3x leverage l would add another but from 1 or 2 it’s just too much of a step.

@nobatmanjokes   If the old ones have a delta close to zero, I surely write another put on the off-days.

Well today was exciting and my Wednesday sell for today strike of 3805 was scary at a few points.  SPX closed at 3811.

Sold 150 points out of the money for 3/1 Put, right at the close and already down a little.

Closed out the 3790 at the mid-way mark just so I could feel a little better in case there was a selloff at the closing bell.

Wrote a 3620 for Monday.

On Wednesday I sold puts with strikes between 3745 and 3775. Didn't buy back. Glad I made all the premium despite a large mark-to-market loss yesterday.

Sold puts with strikes between 3595 and 3635 expiring Monday. It was before the selloff in the last ten minutes of trading.
