Hi Everyone - I am having a very hard time efficiently find a way to put in orders for futures options on Interactive Brokers. Right now I am using tastyworks but they charge more and putting in an order takes me only seconds.

I want to switch to Interactive Brokers mostly because of the costs, I am doing about 80 to 100 contracts per expiration date so the costs really add up.

Can you tell me in detail what setup do you use? Do you use a website platform? Classic view? Their desktop downloaded version? They provide so much information that to me is useless. All I want is to put in a put spread order and move on with my day. The simpler setup, the better.

If you use another broker that is really cheap on futures options, please let me know. Basically, I am trying to minimize execution costs.

I use the Trader Workstation desktop app. It's very simple to set up. Spread trades are available as one single order buy/sell, one single b/a spread to trade the two instruments.

On the go, I can also just do the Android app. Adding the instruments onto the watchlist is cumbersome. Has to be done 1-by-1 (whereas on the desktop app you just add the whole list of all contracts or ranges of strikes all at once). But once you have the contracts on your watchlist you can also easily trade with a few clicks. I can do all my daily trades while on a ski lift ride on the Android app.
